Privacy Policy

The short version

We store what you enter to run your gym, we keep it private to your account, and we never sell it or use it for advertising. You can delete everything from Settings at any time.

What we collect

Your account: email address (or the Google/Apple account you sign in with).

Your gym: name, owner name, phone, city, country and default fee.

Your members: name, phone number, plan, dates, optional photo, and the payments you record for them.

Basic technical data such as app version and error reports, used to keep the app working.

Why we use it

To show you your members, dues and payments, to build reminders you send, and to keep your data in sync across your phones. We do not use your members’ details for marketing.

Who looks after it

For your members’ information, you decide what is stored and why; we process it on your behalf to provide the app.

Your data is stored with our cloud database provider (Supabase) on secure servers, encrypted in transit. Sign-in with Google or Apple is handled by those companies. When you pay for GymRoll Pro, the payment is handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.

We do not sell personal data.

Reminders and WhatsApp

When you send a reminder, GymRoll opens WhatsApp or Messages on your phone with the text filled in. The message is sent from your own account by you; GymRoll never sends messages on your behalf and does not see replies.

Photos, camera and notifications

The app asks for camera or photo access only when you add a member photo. It asks for notification permission only for your daily reminder summary. You can turn these off in your phone’s settings.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your data while your account exists. Settings → Delete account permanently removes your account, gym, members, payments and photos from our servers. Backups are cleared within a short period afterwards.

Your rights

You can see and correct your data in the app, delete it, or ask us for a copy at support@gymroll.app. Under India’s data protection law you can also complain to us about how your data is handled.

Children

GymRoll is for gym owners and staff aged 18 and over. Gym owners are responsible for any member information about minors they choose to store.
